Medical
This modality requires working through very specific dysfunctions in the body, and oftentimes is limited to one area (one arm, just the neck, one shoulder, etc.). For these treatments, because they are limited in overall scope and require less of the therapist while simultaneously requiring more frequent visits (weekly versus monthly), the price point has been adjusted. Medical massage visits are comprised solely of 30 and 60 minute treatments. As medical can be more aggressive, more than 60 in one session is not advisable, and often times shorter and more frequent visits are more highly recommended.
Holistic/Therapeutic
This is a range of modalities comprising an overall evaluation and integrated/systemic treatment. These treatments, because they don’t focus solely on one area of the body, can range from 30-90 minutes, 120 minutes on special request. For those who prefer maintenance and fewer visits over time, these sessions are recommended.
Cupping and Scraping
Suction from cupping draws fluid into the treated area. This suction force expands and breaks open tiny blood vessels (capillaries) under your skin. Your body replenishes the cupped areas with healthier blood flow and stimulates proper and normal healing at a cellular level.
Scraping is a tool assisted mobilization of soft tissue, wherein the scraping tool is moved across tissue and helps to lift and stimulate layers of connective tissue and muscle.
Cupping and Scraping services are part of the massage services at Epic Level Fitness. If you and the Therapist decide that cupping and / or scraping is for you, there are no hidden costs.
Stretch Therapy
Stretch Therapy aims to relax stiffness in muscles and treat restricted / imbalanced joints through manipulation of soft tissues (muscles, blood vessels, nerves, tendons, ligaments).
Fitness Services
Personal Training
Personal training is one on one instruction with one of our staff members. It is highly personalized to your fitness and health goals, and ranges from all of the disciplines and methods we do. Personal training is an hour at a time, often once per week, but twice and three times per week are also available.
Corrective Exercise
Corrective exercise takes an advanced step from the one on one processes used in personal training with an emphasis on the deficiencies in the client’s kinetic chain. While this can be an entire program unto itself, it can also be paired with goals the client has and combined as part of their regular exercises during sessions at the studio for personal training at no extra cost, and a supplemental component added to workouts done outside the studio when not in the presence of a personal trainer.
Group - Yoga and Mobility Fundamentals
This is a small group class that focuses on yoga and mobility. A yoga mat and some comfortable workout clothes are all that is necessary, though a water bottle is highly recommended. At this time group classes are restricted to no more than five.
Group - Steel Mace Yoga
This is a small class that utilizes the Steel Mace with yoga techniques. Participation in the Yoga and Mobility Fundamentals class is not necessary. As with the yoga class, a yoga mat and some comfortable workout clothing is all that is necessary; Steel Maces and other equipment is provided at the studio. At this time group classes are restricted to no more than five.
Group - Steel Mace
The Steel Mace class is a small class that utilizes the Steel Mace for general fitness. At this time group classes are restricted to no more than five.
Group - Historical Fencing
Historical European Martial Arts (HEMA) classes designed to be beginner friendly, to learn the fundamentals of Mediæval Fencing with the Epic Level Fitness. Comfortable workout clothing and a water bottle are the only things necessary to get started, but of course if you have your own gear, you’re more than welcome to bring it*.
